Which Lose Weight Tips Really Work?
Everyone has their own lose weight tips that they pass on to friends and family. I had a friend who ate only popcorn for an entire month, and although she did lose a lot of weight, she also ended up in the hospital. My grandfather ate a raw onion, just like an apple, every morning in order to keep his heart healthy and his weight under control. My mother will not eat anything after 7:00 p.m., for fear that it will go right to her hips.
These insane lose weight tips have worked somewhat for the people in question, but they are hardly based on scientific research, and that is the problem with the many tips that you will find, especially online. You are already know the facts – if you want to lose weight, then you have to burn more calories than you are eating. It really is that simple!
But, it’s not that simple when you are not counting the calories you actually eating, or when you are giving yourself credit for exercise that isn’t quite as vigorous as you think it is. Most of us completely underestimate our caloric intake and overestimate our activity level, and our scales are the proof. Obesity is at an all-time high in our country, in part because of this.
You can find many lose weight tips on the internet, but keep in mind that you also need to interject your own bit of common sense if you are thinking of using them. A diet of just one type of food, or just one color food is not a good idea! Any kind of starvation diet is not healthy. Use common sense and information from your own doctor to help design a change in your nutritional intake and your lifestyle that can last you a lifetime.
